Abiy Eshete - Ethiopia

Abiy Eshete is an Ethiopian artist who holds a B.A. from Addis Ababa University of Art. His passion for art and painting developed from an early age in elementary school. He credits his years of training at the Oromiya culture and tourism institute for his self discovery and development as an artist. He continues live and work in Addis Ababa as a full time artist organizing exhibitions in Ethiopia and abroad.
Agnes Buya Yombwe - Zambia

Agnes Buya Yombwe (b. 18 February 1966) is a mixed media artist based in Livingstone, Zambia. She holds an Art Teacher's Diploma from Evelyn Hone College (1989) and a Certificate in Art and Design from Wimbledon School of Art, London (1993). Agnes taught art at Libala and Matero Boys Secondary Schools in Zambia for seven years and spent ten years teaching in Botswana.
Alexander Bandela - Zambia

Alexander Bandela, born and raised in Lusaka, Zambia, is a visual artist whose journey into the arts began outside the bounds of family tradition. Coming from a home with no artistic background, he is the only one among his siblings to pursue a path in visual art—one he had not initially envisioned for himself. After completing his secondary education in 2012, his introduction to the art world came in 2013 through a friend, Meshach Shikabeta, a videographer and photographer.
Nondo Chansa - Zambia

Nondo Chansa is a Zambian visual artist and photographer born in Livingstone, Southern Province. Inspired by his father, also an artist, Chansa began making art at a young age and has since cultivated a practice rooted in storytelling and contemporary expression. He obtained an Art Teachers Diploma from Evelyn Hone College in Lusaka in 2019 and holds a First Aid certificate from the Zambia Red Cross. While in college, he worked at Paint and Sip (2018–2019), gaining practical experience in art facilitation.
Chishimba Chansa - Zambia

Chishimba Chansa, born in 1956, is a Zambian sculptor, textile designer, and painter. He received his training at Nkwame Nkrumah Teachers College (Kabwe), Evelyn Hone College (Lusaka), Zambia, and the Baltic School of Arts and Design (Sweden). Chansa began working with traditional materials like paper, canvas, and jute but shifted focus in 1982 to researching tree bark fibers. In 2004, he discovered the Papaya tree bark as a medium for painting, becoming the first Zambian artist to use it.

Daniel Kinyanjui - Kenya
Artist (Painting)
Daniel kinyanjui began to show his artistic talent from childhood. In nursery School, his teacher Alice asked him to draw pictures of animals on the chalkboard and used them to teach the students. From this, he continued to develop his talent in pre and secondary school, winning him many awards from school mates and teachers. Afterwards I worked as a housepainter and a sign writer for five years. In October 2024 he exhibited at Gikuyu museum of art located in Ngecha village, Kenya.
Denis Anani Agbo - Togo

Denis Anani Agbo (b. Lomé, Togo) is a self-taught artist who lives and works in Lomé. In addition to his artistic practice, Agbo is actively involved in organizing art events, contributing to efforts that address the limited access to cultural infrastructure in Togo. His vision extends beyond his personal work; he aspires to establish an art school in Lomé—one that, in his words, “lets everybody know in Africa and the West that knowledge is a giant tree: the baobab.” Agbo has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions.
